Those small pill bottles with the safety caps can be impossible to open with fingers that are swollen, dislocated and/or deformed.
I’ve learned to ask the pharmacist for the chubby (pictured on the left), easy-off caps. Chubby makes it easier to hold and easy-off – well, that’s self-explanatory.
Keep safety in mind. If you have young children or pets at home, store your medication in an out-of-reach location.
