Several years ago, there was a recipe in the newspaper for Witches’ Fingers, which I added to my recipe book. Now, whenever I come across the image that accompanies that recipe, I’m reminded of the times when my joints were flaring and I could have easily been the hand model for those cookies!
Despite the drifting – describes the tendency of the fingers to shift towards the baby finger – of my MCP joints, I am grateful that I now rarely experience “bewitched digits”.
