Glowin’ in the Dark

One thing I wished I had done was to keep a record of the number of diagnostic images I’ve had over the years. This includes CAT scans, M.R.I.’s and x-rays.

I’ve had more than my fair share, especially having had so many surgeries, dental work and events. The numbers begin to accumulate if you see a number of doctors. Each doctor will requisition a number of diagnostic procedures without considering what other doctors may have requested.

All is not lost, though. I can start now. Well, truth be told, I began counting and recording, last year.

Who else is more responsible for my health than me? I am the Owner Operator!

Fortunately, you can make technology work for you to help you keep track of this and other health information. Check out Use Your Phone to Improve Your Health – Part 1,  posted on the Canadian Institute for the Relief of Pain and Disability website. Follow them on Twitter @CIRPD.
