Snip, Snip, Clip, Clip

Dependent upon the type of surgery you have, your shower or bath time may be restricted for several days or weeks.

How do you improve upon that image you see in the mirror during your recovery time?

Before I go for surgery, I get my hair cut even shorter than I normally wear it. I’m not particularly fond of  my reflection when I sport the rooster look – bed-head hair swirled into a comb on top of my head isn’t a style I favour – anytime!

I’ve found that short hair makes self-care that much easier, especially in the early days, post-surgery.

Since how you feel is connected – emotionally, physically and mentally – a neatly styled coiffure is one more little thing that will send you along the healing pathway.
