Walk This Way

Or that way.

Just walk, but make sure you do so in comfy shoes.

If you want to go further, for longer, do Choose Your Shoes Wisely.

Recently, L.L. Bean sent me a pair of Women’s Comfort® Mocs to “test-drive”. I’ve often ordered shoes from L.L. Bean  because they meet my criteria.

The minute I put these on, I vowed to order another pair, maybe even two! When the shoe fits, my feet do a happy dance. I love, love, love these shoes!

What’s to like about this shoe? The thick, cushioned sole that makes it feel as if I’m stepping on marshmallows. The wide foot-bed. The supportive heel. The almost flat footbed; I can level it out by adding forefoot insoles. The colours. The ease with which my feet slip into the shoe.

I’m pleased and honoured to be offering this giveaway, courtesy of L.L.Bean, who will help you take that first comfortable step, followed by the next one and the one after that.

One reader will be stepping out in a pair of Comfort® Mocs – available in medium and wide in an attractive range of colours in men’s, women’s and children’s sizes.

To enter, finish this sentence: My feet are _______________.

Entries must be received by midnight PDT, Sunday, April 8, 2012. The draw will be made the old-fashioned way – out of a hat!

Giveaway open to residents of Canada and the United States.

but happiest when dancing on path made of wonder and laughter 🙂

  4. My feet are begging me to try those shoes! I learned a few years ago that I can’t squeeze my wide feet into the skinny shoes of my youth anymore. Once I changed my shoes I stopped limping around at the end of the day. But still the planters faciatis (how do you spell that??) that I forced onto my feet in my 20’s means that my tired old almost 50 yo heels need soft cushioning now. These shoes look like just the ticket. Thanks for hosting this giveaway!!

  5. My feet are beautiful, even when they’re so overcome with arthritis.

  6. my feet are in desperate need of shoes that fit and DO NOT hurt! HELP!

  7. My feet are all suffering right now after walking around Vancouver for 5 days! Having so much pain in my heels these shoes look like they could seriously help me! Thanks for the chance!!

  11. Marianna I cannot believe my luck…I never win anything so you must be my lucky charm. These shoes are terrific and here in Vermont they will get used over and over and over. They fit great with plenty of toe room so they do not pinch which is so often a problem. The traction is great too and of course the brushed suede look makes them attractive as well as soooo practical for our Vermont winters. thanks L.L Bean!

    • I’ve never been called anyone’s “lucky charm” before! I like it! 🙂

It’s a thrill for me to be able to work with L.L. Bean to put together such a great offer, especially when it’s one that helps provide a little bit of comfort to arthritic feet.
